A Walk Up Cougar Ridge to Damselfly Lake
What a stellar morning for a 4 mile walk through the Regional Park. There were so many people in the park: runners, walkers, dog walkers, and even horseback riders. It is expected to reach 80 F (26.66 C) today, so folks were out early in the cool of the morning.
As usual, I stopped by the Dog Park, where the happy pooches were having a wonderful time!
Then up the gorgeous trail to Damselfly Lake, which is still completely covered with Red Azolla. I sat for a few minutes to enjoy the beauty and peaceful green vistas everywhere,
Then I headed back down to the Park trail at the bottom, where two horseriders were enjoying the morning. What a treat!
