Hot, Hot, Hot!

Unbelievably, Zurich was 92 F. again today!  We walked up to the University of Zurich and nearly melted, wanting to visit the Focus Terra Museum there.  No air conditioning in the building, so we didn't last long.  A slow stroll back to the hotel (with pauses for cold drinks) helped, and then a few hours in the comfort of our air conditioned hotel.

Fortunately, by 7:30 PM the temp had moderated to 87 F. and continued to fall to a pleasant 82 F.  We ventured out for dinner at a cafe with outside tables and a cooling breeze, then strolled through "our" neighborhood, enjoying the lovely architectural detail that abounds in this beautiful city.

This building is headquarters of the International Ice Hockey Federation...who'd have guessed?

And this beautiful fountain graces the lawn...

Such lovely detail on these beautiful old buildings...
